Downspout Filters Athens, GA
- Location of Job:Athens, GA
- When:Oct 14, 2021
- Service Category:Residential
- Services Performed:Downspout Filter Installation
Brief Explanation
With every gutter cleaning job our technicians do we introduce and quote the house for downspout filter installation.
Why?
Because they work, they are smart, and everyone should have them in Georgia. We promote and recommend them even though it means that we don't need to clean our customers' gutters as often which means less money for us in cleaning.
How do they work?
It's easy. In Georgia, most homes need their gutters cleaned 2 - 4 times a year to keep debris out of the downspouts and water flowing correctly. However, most people either forget to do it this often, don't know, or don't want to spend the money. As a result they end up with water damage, wood rot, leaking in the home, erosion issues, bug infestations and so much more.
That is where filters come in. They block the downspout from debris entering it but allow water to flowing freely.
Most homes go from needing a cleaning 2 - 4 times a year to just once a year.
That is why we recommend downspout filters.
Gutter Screen Removal Athens GA
- Location of Job:Athens, GA
- When:Sep 15, 2021
- Service Category:Residential
- Services Performed:Gutter Cleaning, Gutter Screen Removal
Brief Explanation
You have probably heard the commercial, had door to door sales guys drop by your house or wondered about gutter guards or screens.
There are many different types. Some are plastic, some are metal, some are foam, and some are mesh...but they all don't really do what you want.
What do you want out of gutter guards or screens?
ZERO MAINTENANCE and ZERO ISSUES
Guess what?
We have never come across a gutter guard or screen system that worked 100%. In fact, they all clog, get debris on top of them, risk getting infested with bugs and animals.
These gutters had mid grade screens that had kept some stuff out but not enough and now plants had grown underneath and up through the tops of the screens.
Commercial Gutter Cleaning Athens GA
- Location of Job:Athens, GA
- When:Oct 7, 2021
- Service Category:Commercial
- Services Performed:Gutter Cleaning
Brief Explanation
WOW!!! These gutters had not been cleaned in years and years. We see plants coming out of gutters all the time but these commercial gutters gave these plants...TREES room to expand and grow.
They had grown so strong and thick that a lot of them had to be trimmed up before we could pull them out of the gutters.
The customer called us just in time. Any longer an their entire gutters would have had to be removed in order to get these trees out.

We have used Guru Gutters several times and would highly recommend them to others. They are professional and quick, and the cost is more than reasonable.
I was recommended to this company by another business because they were too busy to get to me before a forecasted storm. John was personable, knowledgeable and did an awesome job. My gutters have never been cleaned so thoroughly and I’ve had people take less time to do it manually. I was very pleased and not concerned about the impending rain now!
Todd found small peaces of shingles he cleaned from the front of the house to the rear, picking up debris's , much better job than the 1st visit he also took time to apologize for the inconvenience ,very pleased!

They were quick and professional. Definitely recommend them to friends and family.
Sam performed exceptional work in a timely manner, and went above and beyond to take care of my gutters. He even cleaned off my entire roof, storage shed and screened porch roof. On his way out, he also blew off my driveway. Saved me from multiple chores and didn’t charge an additional dime. I will schedule them on a more request basis, and sincerely appreciate Sam’s dedication to an exceptional experience.
Your employee was fantastic. He was polite, efficient, and enjoyed doing his job. He did not complain about anything and explained everything that he had done. I wish more companies had an employee like him, smile....
